The greatest thing I have ever learned about music photography is treating people with respect: the artists, the audience, the venue staff, other photographers basically everybody involved.

Aretha went on to say "We all require and want respect, man or woman, black or white. It's our basic human right." She was one of the greatest singers of all time and Mary J. Blige said, "She is the reason why women want to sing."

I was not fortunate enough to ever see her perform live but I can truly agree with all of the above. However, I have been fortunate enough to photograph other amazing female artists, so please take my hand and let's meet some of these amazing women, from international living legends to local rising stars.
